The unique and important data, which must be necessary for future innovation, can be obtained from this field such as wear data, temperature data and the drivers’ candid feeling which can't be calculated by the dyno tester.

PD (plain disc)
Wide range coverage from all Japanese vehicle to European and American cars, also from light passenger cars to 4x4 vehicles
Succeeded to limit the squeal and vibration by setting the product’s accuracy at a high level for parallelism and DTV
Considering a better compatibility with various brake pad material, the high grade reputed grey cast iron has been adopted. In addition, compounds of various additives are employed such as carbon, silicon, etc, to improve strength, heat resistance and resistance to cracking.
■The anti-rust treatment is for reducing the chance of rusting and so does not completely prevent rusting. Complete anti-rust is not possible as it is cast iron product, and so is not claimable. We would appreciate your understanding concerning this matter.

SD (slotted disc)
An additional 20% μ for safety
The 6 slots brake disc is adopted as standard in the SD type by considering various factor, such as pad wear, squeal and the removal effect
The width, angle, and depth are decided carefully based on data of various races and tests.
For 6 slots type, aggressive rotation (slots pointing forwards) is recommended for higher friction co-efficiency.
Succeeded to limit judder by offsetting the place of slots at outer/inner.

HD (heat-treated disc)
In pursuit of higher stability
For increased high performance use with Z type or R01 type pads.
The initial brake response will be improved.
It is recommended to the professional racing drivers who require more braking stability.
HD type will be substituted with FCR type when available, please understand that FCR type is of a higher grade than HD. FCR (FP) type is supplied automatically with no extra charge.
■Although each one of the FCR(FP&FS) rotor, the heated disk rotor(HD) and heated slot disk rotor(HS) has had heat treatment, please take a bedding-in procedure. Sudden heating or cooling by braking may cause cracks, tensions and judder.
■The appearance of anti-rust coating and heat treatment varies on individual product, but it does not affect the quality of products.
HS (heat-treated slotted disc)
The fusion of high stability and high braking performance.
The 6 slots brake disc is adopted as standard in the HS type by considering various factors, such as pad wear, squeal and the removal effect of gas at the fading. 12 slots version is available upon request as option.
(12 slots version is higher in price than standard 6 slots version)
For 6 slots type, aggressive rotation (slots pointing forwards) is recommended for a higher friction co-efficiency. For 12 slots type, we recommend conservative rotation (slots pointing backwards).
Conservative rotation is recommended for 12 slots type by considering fast pads wear.
HS type will be substituted with FCR type when available, please understand that FCR type is of a higher grade than HS. FCR (FS) type is supplied automatically with no extra charge.

FCR (FP/FS)
"Super Taikyu (endurance) race" known as one of the most competitive race under severe conditions.Many racing teams at Super Taikyu introduced DIXCEL FCR series to their racing agenda and it has greatly helped and improved the performance of their racing machines.
Wide range lineup from normal size to 2 piece type.
The initial bite improves with reasonable surface hardness. Outstanding compatibility with various pads material.
Anti rust coating by special heat resistance paint
■There are two types of FCR series, a slotted type "FS" and a non slot type "FP."
■2 pieces type rotors are the repair replacement parts for vehicles already equipped with the rotor of applicable size. (for size refer to specs in the table below)
Please note that the bell housing, and bolts/nuts for attachment, are not available.
■When FP type fitted on front brakes, FP (offered in limited part number), HD or PD is recommended for rear application, and when FS fitted on front, then FS (offered in limited part number), HS or SD is recommended for rear.
FCR series (FP and FS type) substitutes HD and HS type when available. HD is substituted by FP and HS is substituted by FS when FCR type is available in range.
■When an order of HS or HD type where FCR is available in range, FS or FP is supplied automatically with no extra charge.
Please understand that FCR is of a higher grade than HD or HS.

■Please do not use M Type pad at circuit, as it is made only for street sports. Brake pad may wear faster if it is used at circuit. DIXCEL is not liable for any troubles by using it at circuit. We would appreciate your understanding concerning this matter.
Type Z for performance


All Round Performance Pad
All-round purpose! Suitable widely from Fast road to Racing track use.
High fade resistant brings stable μ in any temperature range.
Comparatively less squeal and dust
Type R01, RD, RN, RGS etc for racing
Low heat conductive real racing pads
Low heat conductivity which maintains calipers and discs in good condition keeps providing highly stable performance in many hours.
Made with high density like sintered alloy materializing high fade resistant and strength
NRS system was introduce to avoid a separation of backing plate and friction materials
(except particular part numbers)
■Not recommended for use with slotted rotor as the friction co-efficiency comes too high.Should be used with PD, HD or FP type rotors.
■Suitable for slick tire and S tire
